Abstract:
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) refers to a process by which an organization
have a responsibility for all their stakeholders. The purpose of this study is to
determine wheter there are differences the employee's perception of the
implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility which is divided on two types
of characteristics; sex and education level. Samples are 70 employees at staff
level in Batu Ampar industrial area whose company has CSR program. For testing
the hypothesis used Two Ways Anova test. The results of this study showed there is
no difference of perception of female and male employees to CSR programs.
Diploma graduate employees or above and high school graduates or under also
showed no difference to the implementation of CSR. Based on the results of this
study, organizing CSR programs is a positive thing from the employees point also
the value company is increasing. Limitation of this research is the sample were
employees who working in industrial area of Batu Ampar. For further research is
suggested to take samples from all over Batam or other areas.
