Computer organization courses are studied on the organization, functions and workings of computer components such as CPU, internal memory, external memory and input or output devices. Computer organization laboratory in Polytechnic Batam still lack facilities. Therefore, it is necessary to design computer lab practicum organization better. To find a shortage of lab computer organizations are needed survey of the development organizations computer lab. of the respondents obtained the things that need to be analyzed and then performed in order to design computer organizations lab space more comfortable and appropriate syllabus. The design is expected to help instructor and students carry out activities of an organizations without a blocked computer lab equipment and room shortage that is uncomfortable.

A learning course is still done manually processes in the process the agency, including registering, learning schedules, tuition fees, student absences and tutor, payroll and reports to the director of guidance relating to the agency. To give the scores/assessment of the exam to students are also still manual, which is still using paper reports or attached to the report on the bulletin board as a medium, so that students’ scores data processing requires some time to process and the information produced is less efficient. The existence of learning outcomes assessment will also provide a clear picture about the achievement of students by learning outcomes, either individually or overall. Making learning schedule, absences, tutor salary and learning outcomes assessment in the world of education is a crucial factor, because with these things it will show clearly the level of success of an education provider in educating students. The solution of problem solving such cases is to create an information system tutoring. The existence of this system is expected to replace the old system (manual) with the new system, so that the processing of registration data, the schedule of study, tuition fees, student absences and tutor, payroll and reports generated will be higher quality and valuable. In addition, with this information system, students can easily access information about the assessment of learning from anywhere and anytime by using the internet.

Solusi Jaya is one of many material store who provide building materials. However the data and transactions processing every day is done manually, by using a simple bookkeeping system that hamper service to customers. Problem arise because of the absence of there is no system recording the transaction details and no inventory system. While the number of transactions than occur each day is so much to handle using manual system that made its important to use systems that are able to handle this process. The purpose of this study is to produce a new system as a way to simplify owner for doing transactions and facilitate the customer to gets information of items and do the order without having to come to the store. Data were collected by doing observation and use essay as qualitative method. This application was made with the purpose of facilitating the owner of managing data processing, transaction and manufacture of request for quotation and purchase order and to facilitate customers for obtaining information of availability and goods price. And customers can do order without having to come to the store building. Applications developed by using MySQL, PHP and CSS. This system provides a facility that can be used by manager such as inventory system, request quotation, purchase order through email service and sales reports.
Enkripsi dan Deskripsi Menggunakan Algoritma Aes (Advanced Encryption Standard) Untuk Implementasi Sms (Short Message Service)

Currently Smartphone use is very popular with many people, especially Android- based smartphones. One Smartphone features that are also much in demand by the public is SMS. Short message service (SMS) is one of the popularly used message exchange communication medias although many internet based message exchange application tend to be more thrifty and easy but still obstructed by unstable networks. Delivery of an information by using SMS requires a process that ensures the security of messages sent. Cryptography is one solution that can be utilized and developed in dealing with the issue of security of SMS messages. By encrypting the SMS message, then the security of SMS messages will be maintained and safe. Cryptography has many techniques for performing encryption SMS messages and one that has a high level of security and the level of difficulty in solving algorithm is AES (Advanced Encryption Standard). At the time encryption must enter a message that will secure the lock SMS messages. This can reduce the leaking of information to parties who are not interested as a mobile phone operator or others.

It’s our need to have information quickly and easily have become a staple of the community, especially among students. One of the required information at this time is to need for geographic information. Every each Batam Polytechnic students have a wide variety of information related to the geographic location of region of origin they are. Therefore, it is necessary to build an application on the distribution of students in the form of maps and WebGIS. So the distribution of information that the student's home area if it can be managed properly, then the leader can know the grouping formed by the distribution of the student's home area, that can support informed decision-making related to the decision campus programs. The method used to make the Distribution of Students According to the Home School (Case Study: Business Management) is a web-based mapping (WebGIS). The software is used, among others, Quantum GIS, PHP and MySQL. This system can display maps and location information of the school and the position of the user in the form of analog maps and online maps, geographic information displays a visual representation of the distribution of Batam Polytechnic students by the school of origin.

PMDK is a new admissions system organized by a University or College independently. As the name implies PMDK is tracking student interest, talent, also his ability. PMDK not need to take the test entrance examination, only assessed from some value rapot or several subjects were used as a requirement to follow PMDK. From the existing data based on case studies in Batam Polytechnic University, performed an application to find results in determining prospective students PMDK. The application is done by using data mining techniques to extract the data to obtain information, as well as using methods of classification, which classifies the data to find a rule to classify the form of new data that admissions PMDK. Rule obtained will be implemented in an application that can classify participants PMDK accepted or not accepted based on the data entered.
Analisis Data Pola Peminjaman Buku Menggunakan Algoritma Fp-Growth (Studi Kasus Perpustakaan Otorita Batam)

Otorita Batam’s Library still using the procedure of lending books manually that uses the book for recording the lending books. The data of lending books recorded manually can experience buildup because if that book is full then the book can’t used again. Data mining is one of analyze’s tool that can fix the buildup to data. This final project do the analyze and make the system about benefits of data mining in lending books in the library. Algorithm of data mining used to analyze the data of lending books is FP-Growth from association method. This algorithm in the form of development FP-tree that finally will result in some association rules. This association rules will be used to puts the books which are often borrowed by the adjacent. Association rules which is obtained, applied to the system built using programming language Java Netbeans. So the association of books from category books can showed by this system in order to facilitate administrators and visitors of the library.

The pharmacy is a place of business engaged in the sale of goods and services. In the process of selling goods there are pharmacies that perform data recording and reporting activities manually into the sales ledger. Activity recording is not effective in the use of time and accuracy of documentation of data that occurs during the sales process because it requires high accuracy. With the Application Sales are expected to facilitate the Drug Pharmacy Pharmacy in the sales process so as to minimize the use of time and is able to generate accurate sales data summary that automated by the application and stored in a database. Pharmacy Drug Sales Application can perform user management, stock management of drugs, drug sales and create sales reports. Sales Pharmacy Drug Application expected to be developed to serve the sales of prescription drugs Doctors, drug debit payment, and serve existing drug purchase rebates.
