Item Sistem Aplikasi Hidroponik berbasis Panel Surya(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2024-01-10) Apriliyanto; Futra, Deri, AsrizalThe hydroponic system is a plant cultivation technique without using soil media. Instead, it uses root irrigation, which is like the DFT (Deep Flow Technique) system. The DFT hydroponic system requires the pump to be continuously running, causing a waste of electrical energy and also costs. In addition, controlling the growth of hydroponic plants is also still done manually, which requires a lot of time and effort. The purpose of making this project is the use of a hydroponic system in this way can save energy and also the costs incurred in the hydroponic system by using solar panels. In addition, the use of sensors as devices that help control plant growth also saves time and effort. The method used in this hydroponic system project using solar power uses the DFT (Deep Flow Technique) method. This system is a mode of stagnant water in PVC pipes or gullies, water is still flowing through nutrient reservoirs through water pumps that are flowed in each gully, the water flowing through each gully. the flow does not flow directly, but is flooded first, then it will flow when the maximum limit has been exceeded, it will return to the reservoir. This DFT system also has advantages in the use of electricity.Based on the results of the analysis and conclusions in this project, planting a hydroponic system using solar power can reduce costs and does not require a lot of time. and based on the work carried out on the application of the DFT method, the test results and tool performance are in accordance with the plan, namely the efficiency of using solar panels.
