One of the main obstacles faced is the lack of motivation to memorize the Qur'an. An effective approach can help increase motivation to memorize the Qur'an, one of which is application media, considering the use of gadgets in Indonesia continues to increase, so the approach with application media is a potential solution. Through the application, the memorization process can be more interactive by utilizing surprising and delightful techniques. This research is limited to Al-Qur'an Juz 30 which is the final part of the Al-Qur'an. In addition to building an iOS-based application for Qur'an memorization, this study also analyzes the impact of the application on user motivation in the process of memorizing the Qur'an. The process of analyzing the level of user motivation in this study was carried out using the Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) model. The measurement results show the influence between the application and the user's motivation to memorize the Qur'an. The Quran memorization application has an influence of 26.2% on user motivation, while other factors outside the study have an influence of 73.8% on the motivation to memorize the Quran.
