Item Rancang Bangun Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Biogas Untuk Daerah Sei Temiang(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2012-08-03) Suprianto, Fahrur; Istardi, DidiDesign of Biogas Power Plant is a research campus to meet the needs of new renewable energy and environmentally friendly. Then conducted the research with engineering scale biogas power plant in the area of domestic Sei Temiang Batam. By utilizing livestock waste contained in the sei temiang, Batam, so we try to build biogas power plants around the farm area. In the process of implementation, this design, the location where digester for decomposition can not be far from the ranch, because the source used is cow dung. And for a mixture of water, the water used is fresh water, or use the nearest water source around the farm area. Temperature to be one important factor for the decomposition, because the temperature is well open to the biogas production ranged 30-55 C , therefore the digester should be placed in an open space exposed to direct sunlight. Prototype plant uses a mixture of cow dung and water (with a ratio of 1:1) as much as 576 liters. Volume of gas produced as much as 624 liters. This gas volume can be used to power electricity for 35 minutes with a power output of 700 WattItem Rancang Bangun Auto Transfer Switch Menggunakan Triac(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2017-02-10) Maulana Dalimunthe, Muhammad Arief; Gozali, M. SyafeiThe availability of electrical power from utility sometimes disturbed, be it from internal of the system like equipment failure or from external of the system like nature phenomenon, so it will obstruct daily activities. However if the activities are urgent, so disturbance of electrical power is not allowed. It cannot help but must use backup supply that generally obtained from diesel generator that usually called genset. Despite that, turning the genset on manually there will be a rather long time delay so it is not too effective if the activities need to handled fast. Therefore this research is useful to solve that problem. This device uses three modes, those are Manual PLN, Manual Genset, and Auto. Manual PLN and Manual Genset mode, the transfer of electricity supply done manually. Meanwhile Auto mode transfers electricity supply by detects which supply available and then transfer it to load. The detection done by converting PLN’s AC supply to DC then directing it to Arduino microcontroller which will process incoming input then triggers TRIAC PLN or TRIAC Genset based on the status of PLN’s supply so power will flow to load pass through the TRIAC. This device can do the switching with good timing accuracy that matches with the programmed delay in microcontroller with nominal current 6A.Item Monitoring Kinerja Jantung Untuk Mengetahui Resiko Penyakit Jantung Koroner Menggunakan Metode Kalkulasi Detak Jantung Per Menit, Tingkatan Stres Dan Perhitungan Indeks Massa Tubuh(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2016-12-15) Zalkarnain, Riki; Supriyanto, HadiHeart is a vital organs in the human body. Heart pressure changes suddenly due to lack of attention to the daily performance of the heart can cause sudden heart attack and also coronary heart disease which can lead to death. Many of us want to check the health of the heart, but lazy to visit the hospital or clinic, because of the costs required to perform cardiac examinations are expensive. The tool to monitoring risk of coronary heart disease using calculation method of heart rate and stress levels using a Microcontroller ARDUINO UNO. This tool is an Application Interface that use pulse sensor to calculate the heart rate per minute, Galvanic Skin Resistance sensor to calculate the voltage on the human skin and obese risk calculation trough the comparison of height and weight someone. This system has the ability to calculate the percentage of a person's risk of coronary heart disease can be exposed by process all data from sensor. This tool can be a solution to facilitate us to check the health of the heart without having to go to a doctor or clinic, just put the parts of our body to the sensor and then we will look the condition of our heart health accurately. Based on the results of research conducted, the error percentage between the manual calculation of pulse sensor and calculation using a tool made smaller than 2.7%. This proves the accuracy of the sensor used is quite good. However, during use the tool, the position of the finger should be stabilized just above the sensor, because the instability of the finger on the tool will be a great impact on the measurement results.Item Aplikasi Pemetaan Posisi Buku Pada Perpustakaan Politeknik Negeri Batam(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2018-01-17) Fahrizal Ardi Muhammad, Fandy; Sutopo Pamungkas, Daniel; Toar, HandriThe library needs support components that can make it easy to access. This research is aimed to develop library services. The development utilizes android applications, so that students or civitas can access the library from another place. To access the library, users can use a downloaded android app on the phone. By using the application, users can find information about books in the library. In the android application, users can find information from books such as authors, publishers, the number of books available, as well as book positions. This application is expected to improve the quality of the Politeknik Negeri Batam’s library.Item Simulasi Saklar Transfer Otomatis Menggunakan Arduino Dan Pengiriman Pesan Otomatis(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2017-08-21) Azarya Dongoran, Septian; Prayoga, SenanjungThe main power supply is PLN (State Power Plant) is not always continuous in distribution, a time must occur blackout that may be caused by interference on the transmission system or distribution system. To anticipate the outage, in this final project I will make ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) by using arduino program the data communications system receives and sends the commands to the circuit for moving the electrical home from PLN to the generator generator and vice versa, and then before the switching , GSM sim800l will send short message information via SMS smartphone the user, with in obtaining this automatic message then we can know information about genset in this simulation tool presented in genset instead of indicator light.Item Rancang Bangun Alat Pengaduk dan Penyaring Kerupuk Atom Otomatis Untuk Usaha Kecil Menengah di Masyarakat Daerah Moro(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2017-02-24) Rahmadhany; Febriansyah Juwito, ArifCracker is one of the foods consumed in Indonesia particularly in the area of the Township. Prawn crackers and crackers fish is the most common type of crackers found in Indonesia, one of the many crackers is in region kecamatan Moro, crackers production processes in the area of kecamatan Moro, from the stirring process the crackers are still utilizing a small spatula and a screening process still utilizes filters that are still manual. For filtering method manually may harm the operator because the operators can be exposed to hot oil at the time of screening. Then a tool mixer and filter automatic crackers can be used to reduce workers complaints. Drive systems at filtering the power window motor use crackers to filter out crackers that are controlled by mikrokontroller. When the process of motor slider working by the time the round motor ride requires a higher flow of 4.2 A comparison at the time of the round motor down that only requires a current of 1.5 A. On the process of stirring crackers, motor requires a current of 1.8 A comparison without the burden that only requires a current of 1.2 A. When the filtering process crackers, on a motorcycle ride with aat load requires a current 4, 3A than at the time of the motor decreases with the condition without the burden of filtering requires only a current 2, 8A.Item Perancangan Sistem Otomatis pada Lampu Berbasis Arduino(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2017-12-12) Zuliawan, Rendy; Istardi, DidiAutomatic control system is an application of communication systems between objects and subjects that take place in private. the application of automatic control system on technology has a broad aspect. Automatic light control is one of the ideas of automation systems, using electronic devices such as sensors or controllers as the command center. Set the working system of lights based on certain conditions where the contaminant and the sensor become benchmarks. The application of automatic controls makes the use of lights efficient where the working system on the lamps is built with complex as needed.
