Abstract
Leadership is a process of influencing or giving an example of a superior to his
subordinates in an effort to achieve organizational goals. Transformational
leadership is leadership that is able to teach, nurture employees and solve
problems with various perspectives. Another factor that can increase employee
productivity is the communication factor. There are several aspects in
communication one of which is the aspect of self-disclosure. This study aims to
analyze the influence of transformational leadership style and self disclosure to
employee productivity. The data used in this study is the primary data in the
form of questionnaires distributed to manufacturing companies in the
production area Tunas Batam area. This study used a sample of 300 respondents
in the company. The research method used is quantitative approach. The data
analysis tool used is simple regression. The results obtained that the leadership
style and self-disclosure have a positive effect on employee productivity.
Limitations in this study are only for companies engaged in production. For
future researchers can add other variables to see the effects that can improve
employee productivity.
