Data Warehouse Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru

Abstract

Admission committee of Polytechnic Batam accepts new students. Data revenue is accumulated each year, and the problem of presenting the information fast and exciting. Technology of data warehouse and On Line Analysis Processing (OLAP) can manage the stack data and present it to assist the decision making process. The purpose of this study was to build a data warehouse and OLAP operations, and build applications to visualize the results of OLAP operations. The data used is the data in a single year PMB.

Star schema of the data warehouse consists of one fact and five dimensions. Analyzed data from a data warehouse with OLAP operations. OLAP applications built with PHP programming language and web-based so that data access becomes faster. The results of data exploration Polytechnic Batam through this web are presented in graphical form a fast and exciting.
