dc.description.abstract | Android provides a new era to the game industry in the world. People no longer have to play the game using a console or PC, because they can easily find a variety of games on mobile devices through Play Store. That's because the android system facilitates game developers to publish games through Play Store, both paid and free games. But the Play Store is also a challenge for developers to make an interesting game. Although publishing games in Play Store is not difficult, in fact developers have to face tough competition so that the game can become popular. This research use method fullerton to know the gameplay of three popular game in Play Store top 10 that can last for a period of one year. Additionally, this research also analyzes the prominent emotion of the players in the third game. The results of this study are expected to be a reference in generating qualified gaming applications. | en_US |
dc.description.abstrak | harus bermain game menggunakan konsol maupun PC, sebab mereka dapat dengan mudah menemukan beragam game di perangkat mobilenya melalui Play Store. Hal itu dikarenakan sistem android memudahkan developer game untuk dapat mempublikasikan game melalui Play Store, baik game berbayar maupun gratis. Namun Play Store juga merupakan tantangan bagi developer untuk menghasilkan game yang menarik. Meskipun mempublikasikan game di Play Store tidak sulit, kenyataannya developer harus menghadapi persaingan ketat agar game buatannya dapat menjadi populer. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode fullerton untuk mengetahui gameplay dari tiga game populer di Play Store yang mampu bertahan selama periode satu tahun dari posisi 10 besar. Selain itu penelitian ini juga menganalisa emosi yang menonjol dari pemain ketiga game tersebut. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi dalam menghasilkan aplikasi game berkualitas. | en_US |
