Abstract
As we have known that, the rising price of fuel (fuel oil), then in lieu of fuel (fuel oil ) is to use a battery that will be used by vehicle of car, to be free from pollution. Then it should be pursued alternative sources of electrical energy, Charging System On Electric Car is a power supply that can provide energy (power) while the electronic equipment that will charged for several hours. In this equipment using components such as step-down transformer 220/12 VAC which aims to lower the voltage, the diode bridge rectifier diode is intended as a rectified AC voltage into DC voltage, then the capacitor used is a polar capacitor 220 μF 25 V to the input voltage the transformer at 12 V. These capacitors serve as levelers ripple (ripple) on the rectifier output voltage. In this thesis designed a system of charging an electric car that has a charging voltage of 12 V. In use a rectifier bridge rectifier equipment aims to rectify AC voltage into DC voltage. Voltage of 220 VAC derived using a step-down transformer to 12 VAC, then the input to the rectifier. The resulting DC voltage is 12 V in accordance with the requirements, the system uses components diode bridge 4.
