Abstract

Act 13 of 2003 section 21-30 of the Employment explain the specifics of internship regulations in Indonesia . By making this reference, the internship course is organized to Politeknik Negeri Batam. Internships are usually performed by final year students in order to provide experience to the students about the world of work . In other words , this internship is obligatory as a condition for graduating students . However, the current internship data management still works manually . There is no such a system that helps computerized internship data management. E-Magang system is made by Waterfall method and Use case as is used to design the architecture of the system to make a list of spesification like Internship Registration, Internship lowongan, Internship Feedback and Report. On Interface, E-Magang is using HTML, CSS and Javascript also PHP as the connector between database and interface. Kind of PHP that it is used is PHP Framework. There are a lot kid of PHP Framework, but E-Magang is build by Codeigniter. This software which launched in 28th of February 2006 is sn open source application that used MVC (Model View Controller) model to build a dynamic website. Implementation combines the early design and programming language to become an application. When it becomes an application, we should do software testing to find some weaknesses so we can make a revision which can helpful for the implementation of internship and at the end of story, this application can be a alternative suggestion to the implementation of internship in Politeknik Negeri Batam.
