Implementasi Single Sign On

Abstract

This final assigments discuss about implementation of single sign on use method PHP OpenLDAP and Lightweight Data Access Protocol (LDAP) in a portal web. The purpose of SSO implementation is to bundle some application web in a site, so was built application integration. Especially a web is known as portal web. With portal web use single sign on method, every user only need a username and a password. and if user want get services or facilities in portal web, user only once in a login to use all of the facilities or services in that portal web. This case can facilitate the user to use the application. User doesn’t need to remember some account, only one account and doesn’t need login repeatedly, sufficient with once login. This case can easier for data user organizing at hand. So the data user security more safety, because this application use centrally user database. PHP OpenLDAP is used to handle communication problem among differently web application, so all of the application can be integrated in a portal web. LDAP is used like a protocol of service directory, where all of user data are saved in the LDAP.
