Abstract
Exports are the activities of selling products from one country to another across
the border of a country's customs territory, with the aim of obtaining the much-
needed foreign exchange of the country, creating jobs for the domestic labor
market, obtaining import duties and other taxes, and maintaining a balance
between the flow Goods and money flows circulating in the country. This study
was conducted to determine the effect of several independent variables, namely
national exports, national imports, Batam exports, imports of Batam to the
dependent variable ie the kurs of USD and SGD. This research is a kind of
explanatory research with quantitative approach. The data used in this study is
time series data in the period 2014-2016 obtained from the official website of the
Central Bureau of Statistics. The sampling method is 36 saturated samples. Data
analysis in this research using multiple linear regression method with the help of
SPSS. Simultaneous test results indicate that exports, national imports and
exports, Batam imports have a significant influence on the kurs of USD and SGD.
