dc.description.abstractThe development of the film industry is currently growing rapidly, it does have an impact on existing technologies especially in editing techniques, thereby causing the number of genres that are popping up, and one was a thriller. This can occur because the editing techniques facilitate the videographer to create a fictitious scenes become look real. Rotoscoping is one frequently used editing techniques to create it. Rotoscoping itself is a technique in film editing by means of tracing live action video footage frame by frame with filter picture selectively from each section that is in the frame and give a more realistic impression in a film. In this final task, later made a film genre thriller, which applies the technique of rotoscoping in Adobe After Effects. The film stresses on the side of his editing, and is expected to later can add insight into the young film makers in the world of cinema.en_US
dc.description.abstrakPerkembangan industri perfilman saat ini semakin pesat, hal ini berdampak pada teknologi yang ada khususnya dalam teknik editing, sehingga menyebabkan banyaknya genre yang bermunculan dan salah satunya adalah thriller. Hal tersebut dapat terjadi karena teknik editing mempermudah videographer untuk menciptakan adegan-adegan fiktif menjadi terlihat nyata. Rotoscoping merupakan salah satu teknik editing yang sering digunakan untuk meciptakan hal tersebut. Rotoscoping itu sendiri adalah teknik editing dalam film dengan cara menjiplak cuplikan video live action frame by frame dengan memfilter gambar secara selektif dari setiap bagian yang ada dalam frame dan memberikan kesan yang lebih realistik dalam sebuah film. Pada tugas akhir ini, nantinya akan dibuat sebuah film bergenre thriller, yang menerapkan teknik rotoscoping pada Adobe After Effect. Film ini menekankan pada sisi editing nya, dan diharapkan nantinya dapat menambah wawasan para sineas muda dalam dunia perfilman.en_US
