Abstract

End Task "Application-Based Face Recognition OpenCV" This is one of the development features to perform face recognition to an object (face). Face Recognition Application are made to be able to overcome the difficulty of recognizing a person, if that person the have same name with others and will cause errors in recognizing people. In the manufacture of Application-Based Face Recognition OpenCV This will require software that can perform image processing, software used is OpenCV. Methods to be used in data processing is a Face Matching faces. Face Matching method serves to provide a decision by looking at the degree of similarity (similarity) in the face of data that is greater than the thresholdnya, the system likely will experience an error in recognizing a person's face. Supporting applications that are used in making this application are Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and programming languages C# (C-Sharp) as editor in making the application.
