Abstract

Digital step counter is a counter system of human footsteps in which digital accelerometer sensor as the input data from this system are then out of the sensor data is processed by a microcontroller based program instilled by programmmer and then the data processing is displayed through the LCD. Digital step counter using accelerometer sensor which is taken from the Wiimotenunchuck, the Wiimotenunchuck, the sensor used is a 3 axis accelerometer sensor LIS3L02AL + /-2g. Communications obtained from the sensor to the microcontroller using the Wiimotenunchuck communication by using current i2c pin SDA (data) and SCL (clock).
