Abstract
The parking system at Batam State Polytechnic is still manual, so it
makes students queue long enough to get a parking card. This research that utilizes
Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and Raspberry Pi technology is used as a
simulation of the actual parking system by applying RFID tags to the parking card.
The results of this system indicate that the system runs in accordance
with the general description of the system, besides that the data stored in the
database will be displayed through a web parking. The parking system that will be
built based on RFID and Raspberry Pi and indirectly also students are introduced
to the technology that is combined between software and hardware in the parking
area.
