Aplikasi Kamus Mobile Aneka Bahasa Daerah

Abstract

The use of mobile as a medium of communication is common in communities across the country. Communication link can be easily done with almost unlimited distances with the use of mobile phones. This is the case with the dictionary indispensable in iterpreting a foreign language. This study aims to design a digital dictionary application in various local languages for mobile devices, especially mobile phones based on Android. So just by using a mobile phone, the user can translate the system into local languages and vice versa at anytime and anywhere. This is ofcourse can be a tool in the preservation of the culture of the national language. The advantages of this application also supports the existence of English as a first language and English as an international language, so the cultures of the national area can be translated directory into English. Stages of the author does to make the application development process includes stages of analysis problems and needs, the design of the application and the application interface design, so that the application is easy to use and has the optimal function in interpreting the language.
