Abstract

The Accelerometer is a censor whose function is to detect the value of the acceleration and attitude behavior of the rocket when fly, it is also supported by a BMP085 censor to detect the altitude of the rocket during flight. These sensors which will be as monitoring attitude behavior of the rocket when fly, with the aim of monitoring attitude of the movement rocket starting from initial launch to the separation of the rocket. Of testing has been done that the attitude of the rocket when fly can be determined by determining the angle at the three-axis accelerometer is defined as the pitch angle of the x-axis, roll is defined as the angle of the y-axis, and yaw is defined as the angle from the z-axis. From the results of data three axes accelerometer to determine attitude behavior of the rocket when fly can be displayed in the form of trajectory visualization using Inventor software. Of the overall test result data obtained separation period ± 3 seconds from initial launch to separation and the initial velocity rockets to reach the top of ± 20.4 m/s.
