Abstract

The food menu ordering system in the PT Tropical Electronic Batam canteen still uses manual processing methods in its services. So a system is needed that can help the canteen interact with buyers both in terms of communication and transactions. With these considerations, the author created a "Web-Based E-Canteen" system. In order to obtain maximum results for system users who can easily obtain accurate information wherever they are. So a responsive web-based system on the mobile browser display is the main choice. That way, the purchasing and selling process is not hampered by distance and time issues. The application is made including the process of purchasing and ordering food. This system can connect two users, including canteen employees and customers. Canteen employees can easily control and update data in real time, can also update menu data, receive orders and customers can easily see information on the list of foods and drinks sold and make orders.
