Abstract
Current technology developments strongly support the progress of a company.
Computers are one of the technologies that have need for support in data
processing to produce information required by the customers, suppliers and the
company quickly, precisely and accurately.
One of the systems included in the company is the sales information system,
because company trading needs a sales information system is precise and
accurate. Application of computer-based information system on a firm course is
expected to help resolve problems that occur.
With web based application is precise and accurate, the employee had no
difficulty in receiving ordered items and inform customers of sales of goods to the
needy. In this research has developed a Web-based applicationSaleswith a case
study on the PT. XYZ Batam. Where the system is used to build a tool that system
development Data Flow Diagrams (DFD), Context Diagram, Entity Relationship
Diagram (ERD) and Flowchart and using the programming language PHP, CSS
and MySQL as the database.
