Abstract

Any student of business management Batam State Polytechnic has a wide range of spatial data information associated with geographical location information and data regions are non-spatial (attribute data). From the data analysis can be done on how the pattern of distribution of the origin of the students and the level of contributions to an area of Batam State Polytechnic students. Therefore, it needed a system that provides information on the distribution of student-based online. As for the methods used for the manufacture of these information systems is to combine web applications with WebGIS. Some of the software used, among others, Quantum Gis, PHP and HTML. The system made capable of giving information in the form of a map of the distribution of students in the form of a map of analog and web-based maps (WebGIS), business management student distribution patterns based on region of origin in Batam city, as well as providing business management student information in web.
