Cool Box Ramah Lingkungan

Abstract

Refrigerator is a thing that is needed in household. Almost in every house has refrigerator. It can be used to cool the drink or preserve some foods. Refrigerator that we usually use has cooling material from chemical which is unfriendly used for environment. That is freon. In this research, the writer makes a tool that resemble to refrigerator can cool and save the food. Which is using component that more friendly for environment and free from dangerous chemical. This cool box has 7 liter of capacity and use 2 thermoelectric peltier. Better dissipation of heat on heatsink side can make more refrigeration on cold sink. In the experiment of cooling cool box room without any other things inside the room, the temperature was 10 °C in 90 minutes. To cool the room of cool box with 2 bottles 600 ml of mineral water in inside needed 720 minutes. Then to cool the room of cool box with 5 bottles 600 ml of mineral water in inside, it needed 840 minutes. The temperature cool box to cool those bottles was 12, 6 °C.
