Abstract
To facilitate students in understanding the working principle of the boost converter, then a trainer kit can be used as a practical tool in the learning module. This scheme aims to generate value for the output voltage higher than the input voltage. To be able to produce higher output value is used PWM as an input for controlling duty cycle, where the duty cycle is proportional to the output voltage. So that when the experiments were performed at 100% duty cycle produces an output voltage of 11,6 V, duty cycle than when the experiment is still at 20% Ton < Toff with the result of the output voltage of 2,2 V.
