Abstract
The rapid growth of the population hasled to an increasing demand for clean water, highlighting the need for an efficient
water level monitoring and control system. In daily life, water tanks are often found either overflowing or empty due to
the absence of automatic control systems. This study aims to develop a Water Level Sensor Practice Kit as a learning tool
in the field of engineering and automation, particularly for students and practitioners studying sensor-based control
systems. The device uses an Arduino as an interface between sensors and LabVIEW software. It is equipped with an
ultrasonic sensor and a pressure sensor to measure water level in real time, as well as a servo motor to automatically
control the water valve. A fuzzy logic control system is implemented to handle the nonlinear and dynamic nature of the
system. Testing was conducted to evaluate sensor accuracy and system performance in maintaining water levels
automatically. Experimental results show that the system functions effectively, achieving an average accuracy of 89%,
although further improvements are needed for optimal performance. Overall, the Water Level Sensor Practice Kit has
potential to enhance practical understanding in instrumentation and can be applied to small-scale water management
systems.
