Abstract
The need for clean water is a very vital requirement in everyday
life. Along with the development of technology, made a water container
in the form of tendons / water tanks are used to anticipate if the water
supply died due to water disruption. The problem that arises when the
water level in the water container tank is unknown, it is possible that the
overflowing or empty reservoir situation can be caused by the lack of
control over the tank, so a device that can automatically control the tanks
is made. The author uses the way by using the switch regulator and PLC.
Swich regulator is used as the motor speed setting based on the output
voltage (volt). this control can be done manually or with the help of
additional devices such as PLC (Programmable Logic Control).
By setting the output voltage, when the motor speed increases,
the current is at 0.4A and the voltage is 221V, while the motor speed is
reduced, the current is at 0.2A and the voltage is 205V.
