Abstract

In the era of modern technology, home automation systems are an efficient solution to improve comfort and security. Therefore, the idea of developing a Smart Home was conceived, with the goal of enhancing power efficiency and reducing manual control to increase comfort and convenience. This project aims to design and build a Smart Home system based on the ESP32 microcontroller that can monitor temperature, light intensity, and detect human movement. The system uses DHT11 sensors to measure temperature and humidity, LDR sensors to detect lighting levels, and PIR sensors to detect motion. The data obtained is displayed in real-time through an OLED I2C screen and is used to control the house lights through a relay module. Based on the test results, the system can read temperature, respond to light, and motion automatically, and activate lights when motion is detected in dark conditions. This system shows great potential in the application of Smart Homes that are energy efficient and responsive to environmental conditions. The calculated efficiency is 60% based on testing the calculation data in one day
