Abstract

In Indonesia the standart 1 phase voltage is 220 volts with a frequency of 50 Hz. But it is often found that the voltage of electricity at home up and down, this can effect electronics equipment. Therefore it takes a voltage detector tool that can provide information about the stresses that exist at home. So we can manage the existing power usage at home. Therefore in this final project the writer make voltage detector tool using step down transformer as voltage sensor. The step down transformer here is used as a voltage drop AC 220V, which is then rectified using full wave diode bridge circuit. So get the output the output voltage value of 2V. where is the output value of 2V is directly proportional to AC voltage source. As for the difference with the voltage sensor which is usually the author does not use the capasitor component so that the output produced is still a sine waveform, the advantages compared to the voltage sensor in general is the output than the voltage sensor can be used to create a power detector where generally using sine wave as input data.
