Perencanaan Dan Pengendalian Persediaan Bahan Baku Dengan Menggunakan Metode Economic Order Quantity (Eoq) Pada Ukm Barelang Kompos

Abstract

In manufacturing companies, raw materials is one of the important elements that need to get special attention in terms of planning and control well because without raw materials, production activities can not run smoothly. Therefore, the Company is expected to be able to manage the raw materials persdiaan efficiently. UKM Barelang Kompos has problems managing Humus Dedauna, Pupuk Kandang and Arang well stock. The problems that often arise in this business is the production process is hampered because of lack of raw materials, the fulfillment of slow consumer needs and ordering of excessive raw materials that make this business should increase the cost of storage. The purpose of this research is to know and analyze the optimal amount of raw material purchasing, total cost of efficient raw material inventory, amount of safety stock needed, and reorder point of raw material. Data collection techniques use interviews and collect some document information related to the planning and procurement of decaying leaf raw materials, Manure, and Charcoal. Data were analyzed by using Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. Based on the calculation of EOQ, this business can save inventory cost of Rp 572.650.06.
