dc.description.abstractAbstract— Sensor damage on CNC pipe machines is a crucial problem that impacts production efficiency and quality. This study aims to identify the factors causing sensor damage in order to improve machine reliability. The Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method is used to systematically analyze the potential failure of each sensor component. Through FMEA, the failure mode, the effects caused, and the severity can be identified. The results of the analysis show that the main factors causing sensor damage include contamination, wear, and calibration errors. Based on the results of the study, recommendations for improvement are prepared which include improving cleaning procedures, periodic component replacement, and routine calibration. Thus, it is expected to reduce the frequency of sensor damage and increase the productivity of CNC pipe machines.
