Abstract

One of the most important part from the use of the mobile robot that is the device used to move. The devices used in the control of the robot there are various kinds of remote control with the media cable, computer, joystick. The use of the cable device in the control of mobile robot looks less effective because it can interfere with the movement of the mobile robot. Due to the control of the robot is less effective so that a way to control the mobile robot more natural and interactive by using the gesture. The purpose of this research is to produce a system to control the mobile robot using the Myo Armband. The research method used is one of the existing sensors in a device that is Myo Armband then data from Myo Armband will be sent in wireless communication through media Bluetooth. The results obtained are the output data from Myo Armband in the form of pitch, yaw and roll in accordance with the human hand movement. From this research can be concluded that Myo Armband can control the mobile robot more easily with the human hand movement.
