Abstract

This final project aims to make application to record the employees attendance. The previous post card method is less effective, becauseattendance fraud problem, cause inaccurate attendance records. Our method solves the problem by identifing the presence of employees byface identity. This application can be used manager and employees. This application is built by C # programming language andMySQL. It uses PCA (Principal Component Analysis) method from OpenCV library. PCA reduces data dimension without reducing the information from data. Itcompares the significant facial features, causes the fast face recognition. This application can recognize faces with accuracy rate of up to 88% in light and dark conditions. Applicationhas been able to help the management to record and presentemployees attendance, and manage work schedules for each employee.
