Abstract
It is perfect for the manufacturing industry to produce efficient goods so that
it can generate profits and can deliver products on time. Currently the company is
required to be more competitive in the manufacturing industry
This study aims to determine the implementation of Valve quality using Six
Sigma method and to know the factors causing damage to the production process. Six
Sigma is a way of improving quality before target 3.4 fails per million fold for a
product or service. Running Six Sigma DMAIC can know that the sigma rate of the
valve product damage as much as 3.76% in PT Cameron Systems Batam is still quite
good with damage level of 7.375 for a million production (DPMO). Implementation
of Six Sigma quality improvement in this research can be concluded that there are
two causes of the highest product that is Oversize / Undersize dimension as much as
69% and by Tool mark 31%.
