Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Kejurusan Metode Topsis

Abstract

Majors is one of the problems faced by the students in Madrasah Aliyah (MAN) Batam. Many students who do not fit in choosing courses that lead to a variety of obstacles in the process of learning one of which is a decrease of achievement. In this case one right solution to reduce the problems majors amid technological development is to build a decision support system as the TOPSIS method of calculation. This system uses the programming language PHP and Mysql as database and apply in Madrasah Aliyah Batam. TOPSIS method is based on the criterion value of report cards, test scores interests, aptitude test scores, and the value of intelligence tests, while stages TOPSIS method is to make a decision matrix that is normalized, weighted normalized decision matrix, the matrix determines the positive ideal solution and negative ideal solution, determine anatara distance matrix value of each alternative with positive ideal solution and negative ideal solution, as well as determining the preference value for each alternative. Decision support system has been created and is able to assist in the placement of students and also be more optimal and more time efficient.
