The samples used were non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2010 to 2013. The data collection method using purposive sampling method and data used are cross section. Research conducted using multiple linear regression. The results of external audit quality and managerial ownership structure have not significant effect on earnings management. For their next study could extend the time period and replace or add another variable.Item Pengaruh Tunjangan Sertifikasi Dosen, Pendidikan Dosen, dan Pelatihan Dosen Terhadap Kinerja Dosen Beberapa Perguruan Tinggi di Batam(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2015) Rahmawati, Siti; sinarti, sinartiThis study examines the effect of the certification allowances lecturer, faculty of education, training and lecturer on the performance of the lecturer in several universities in Batam. This research was conducted using questionnaires to all samples certified lecturer at several universities in Batam. The data obtained were then processed using regression analysis. The number of questionnaires are processed totaled 75 questionnaire. Hypothesis test results have shown that the benefits of certification lecturers, professors of education, and training faculty positive and significant effect on the performance of the lecturer. Allowances for lecturers who have followed the certification, provide opportunities for continuing education for faculty, and provide training opportunities according to their field can improve the performance of lecturers. The samples in the study have not been evenly distributed and performance assessment are used in the form of self-appraisal, so that further research can be used to sample a wider and performance assessment is done by looking at Work Target Employees (SKP) for lecturers Civil Servant (PNS) and the achievement of academic rank private colleges.Item Pengaruh Budaya Organisasi dan Motivasi Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja dan Kinerja Karyawan(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2015-07-13) Syadahrina, Naulla; Irawan Setianto, AdiThis research is about organization culture and motivation that impact to satisfaction of working and employee's performance. The culture of organization appears itself. The pleasure of working environment is one of culture in the company. In this research the researcher only examines the effect of the each independent variable to dependent variable. The organization culture stated in five characteristics: process oriented; employee oriented; parochially;open system; loose control; and normative. This condition as same as satisfaction of working that also stated in five characteristics: salary; promotion; partner; higher authority; and occupation. The motivation and performance of employee view in whole situation depend on theory used. After examined the hypotheses used SPSS 17, this are the results of hypotheses: there is positive and significant effect between organization culture and motivation to satisfaction of employees. Is variable tested one by one, used simple linear analysis, because of the culture of company is really effect to satisfaction and performance of employees. So that employers motivation is important as main unit to improve the enthusiasm in increasing performance in working.Item Pengaruh Metode Pelatihan Terhadap Kompetensi Karyawan NDT (Non Destructive Test) Pada PT Cladtek Bi Metal Manufacturing(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2015-08-28) Setiawan, Vikry; Hidayat, RahmatThis study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of the training methods of the competence of employees in the NDT (Non Destructive Test). NDT is a department that plays a role in the trial of goods without damaging the item or object. Implementation of training methods is divided into two methods: On the Job Training & Off The Job Training. This method is expected to improve the competence of employees. Respondents of this research is the employee who worked on the NDT (Non Destructive Test), the results showed that there was a significant effect of variable On The Job Training for the competence of employees is 0.650, and there is a positive and significant influence of variables Off The Job Training for employee competence of 0.628 on the NDT (Non Destructive Test) at XYZ.Item Evaluasi Kinerja Supplier Menggunakan Metode Ahp(Analytical Hierarchy Process) Pada PT XYZ(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2015-08-28) Kasmawati, Desti; Hendrawan, BambangPT XYZ is a manufacturing company that prioritizes raw materials as the main priority of the company. Th study aims to evaluate the performance of the best supplier for the company, since the supplier must supply the best materials for the production of PT XYZ. The criteria applied to the supplier by PT XYZ consists of Price, Delivery, Quality, Service, with an alternative suppliers such are PT.B, PT.I, PT.E and PT.G. This study is devoted only to the suppliers of raw materials for Wooden Plank, with a specification of the type of consumable material. The method used is AHP (Analiytic Hierarchy Process), with the results that PT.I is the best supplier for PT XYZ.Item Pengaruh Kualitas Layanan, Citra Merek dan Harga Terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Pada Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) Baloi Cabang Batam(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2015-08-18) Heriyanto, Mega; Hidayat, RahmatThis study aims to identify and analyze the influence of service quality, brand image and price simultaneously or partially on purchasing decisions at Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) Baloi Batam branch. The population in this study is that consumers who ever bought KFC Baloi Batam branch or consumers who come directly to KFC Baloi Batam branch. The number of samples obtained using Slovin calculation as much as 75 respondents using non Probability Sampling method is Accidental Sampling. The analytical method used is quantitative analysis of multiple regression analysis using SPSS 20. The result showed that the variables of service quality, brand image variables and variable rates simultaneously significant influence on purchasing decisions at KFC Baloi Batam branch. evidenced by obtaining the calculated F value of 7.905 and F tables of 2.73. So in this case Ha accepted and H0 is rejected because Fvalue > Ftables is 7.905 > 2.73. Figures R of 0.500 with a coefficient of determination or R Square of 0.250 or 25%.
