    Efektivitas Pelatihan Terhadap Pengembangan Technical Skill pada Karyawan Produksi PT. Mcdermott Indonesia dengan Kepuasan Kerja Sebagai Variabel Intervening

    The purpose of this study was to describe and analyse the efectivity of training method for employe technical skill development that has given by PT. McDermott Indonesia to their production employees. This training method has given and used to measuring how far the technical skill has develop as long the employee working at PT. McDermott Indonesia. This research is explanatory research and using path analysis method conducted in the Department of Craft Training Centre PT. McDermott Indonesia amounting to 115 respondents. Data collected directly by kuesioner, interview and observation at PT. McDermott Indonesia. The results showed the influence of effectiveness on the job training and off the job training partially effect significantly to job satisfaction; effectiveness on the job training to the development of technical skill has no effect in a significant way; the effectiveness of off the job training towards the development of technical skill significantly influential; on the job training, off the job training and job satisfaction simultaneously effect significantly towards the development of technicall skills.

    Pengaruh Pelatihan Dan Motivasi Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan

    The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of training and work motivation on employee performance. Training measured by the dimensions of skills and knowledge, while working motivation dimension is measured by motives, expectations, and incentives, and the employee's performance can be measured by indicators of quantity of work, quality of work, cooperation, understanding of the task, initiative, discipline and reliability. Respondents in this study were 200 employees of accounting staf who work in manufacturing companies in Batam, technique which is used to analyze this study is simple linear regression analysis. Results of the study found that training and motivation work have positive iミflueミce oミ eマployee perforマaミce. Based oミ these results it’s advisable for the company to provide adequate training and increase employee motivation to improve the productivity of the company. This study is confined to the accounting staf employees in manufacturing companies in Batam, so further research is recommended to use the different samples and from other types of companies.
