SISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN PERSEDIAAN DAN DISTRIBUSI BARANG BERBASIS WEB PADA PERUSAHAAN DISTRIBUTOR

Abstract

Distribution companies face major challenges in managing inventory and goods distribution efficiently, where manual recording often leads to data inaccuracies and delivery delays. This issue is categorized as a complex problem as it involves various interdependent operational variables, ranging from supply chain synchronization to distribution flow monitoring. Therefore, this Final Project aims to design and develop a web-based Inventory and Distribution Management Information System to optimize the company's operations. The software development utilized the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method with the Waterfall model to ensure a structured and sequential development phase. The main result of this research is a functional web-based management information system equipped with an auto deduct stock feature, automatic distribution flow tracking, and digital delivery note (Surat Jalan) printing in PDF format. Based on technical performance testing, the system recorded a stable response time of under 0.5 seconds. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) using the System Usability Scale (SUS) questionnaire instrument obtained an average score of 81.0 (Good/Acceptable category). In conclusion, through comparative efficiency analysis, the implementation of this system is proven capable of cutting operational administrative working time by an average of over 85% compared to manual methods, minimizing recording error rates, and directly assisting management in making strategic decisions regarding logistical stock availability.
