Abstract

This article discusses research related to a websitebased Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) monitoring system using the Laravel framework, focusing on monitoring the battery and position of AGVs represented using MFRC522 RFID sensors in real time. Data is obtained from the ESP32 microcontroller, which reads the MFRC522 RFID sensor and PZEM-017 battery sensor, then sent to the Laravel server via the HTTP POST method in JSON format. The data received by the system is stored and processed through the Laravel API, then stored in a MySQL database before being displayed on the dashboard page. The system uses an IP and RFID mapping mechanism to identify the AGV's identity and determine its position on the track. The system was tested under various conditions, such as sending data in the wrong format and using unregistered IPs. The results show that the system can handle these conditions and display the data on the website dashboard. The performance analysis system shows that the recommended monitoring system operates safely under standard operating conditions, achieving a 100% data transmission success rate with consistent server response, as indicated by HTTP status code 200. An asynchronous communication mechanism allows the dashboard interface to update monitoring data at 10 second intervals. Furthermore, the system uses a mechanism of IP and RFID mapping, which enables precise identification of AGV identity and position. It is also able to handle incomplete or invalid data inputs without interfering with system operation. A structured and scalable web-based AGV monitoring approach that integrates real-time data logging and flexible data mapping using the Laravel 10 framework is presented in this study.
