dc.description.abstract | PT. Ecogreen Oleochemicals is a company that produces fatty alcohol. Which has many electric motors and uses several propulsion systems. One of them is the motor compressor system. The use of the drive system on the compressor engine uses a Frequency Adjustable drive system. However, due to damage to the Frequency Adjustable drive system, it must use a direct on line drive system. Then there is a problem that causes an overload or overload. In the use of these two propulsion systems one can see the differences that make these two propulsion systems have their respective advantages and disadvantages. And in this final project calculations are carried out for load currents of 177 A, cable selection of KHA 212.4 A, short circuits of 35410.12 A, grounding resistance R<1.68254×10^(3) Ω, voltage drop of V_drop=4.564<51.11° V. | |
