Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect between non-financial characteristics of Balance Scorecard on employee job satisfaction. This research was conducted at the manufacturing company in Batam, respondents in this study is that financial managers are permanent employees. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. Results from this study showed that customer perspective and internal business process perspective has a positive and significant relationship to job satisfaction managers, whereas the perspective of learning & growth and communication strategy does not have a positive and significant relationship to job satisfaction managers. Results of this study illustrate that the manager has not been fully focused on non-financial characteristics to make decisions that can improve job satisfaction have not been fully manager. This study was limited to financial managers who are permanent employees in manufacturing companies in Batam, so further research is recommended to use a sample of the types of other companies or companies in other regions.
