Abstract

The increasing demand for residential WiFi services requires a secure and efficient management system for payment and network monitoring. This study aims to design and implement a web-based WiFi payment and monitoring system integrated with the MikroTik RouterOS API and the Midtrans payment gateway using the STRIDE threat modeling method. The system was developed using the Waterfall methodology and integrates Midtrans for automated payment verification, MikroTik RouterOS API for automatic PPPoE account activation, and AJAX Polling for real time network monitoring. System evaluation was conducted through Black-box Testing and STRIDE-based security analysis. The results show that the proposed system successfully automates payment processing, WiFi service activation, transaction management, and network monitoring while mitigating potential security threats such as spoofing, tampering, information disclosure, denial of service, and unauthorized access. The proposed system improves operational efficiency, reduces manual intervention, and enhances the security and reliability of residential WiFi service management.
