Abstract

Taman Sari Unit Waste Bank, located in Batam City, faces operational inefficiencies due to a manual record-keeping system, resulting in a slow process that is prone to human error in data entry. This study aims to design and implement a web-based digital platform named Siklus.id to optimize the operational workflows of Taman Sari Unit Waste Bank within a Circular Economy framework. The research employs a User-Centered Design (UCD) approach to ensure the system satisfies user requirements through context analysis, requirements specification, design solutions, and evaluation phases. The Siklus.id system was developed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database, with task management structured using a Kanban Board. Functional testing was performed using Black Box Testing, while usability was evaluated using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The results demonstrate that the Siklus.id digital platform successfully digitizes customer registration, deposit logging, and operational report generation accurately. The SUS evaluation yielded an average score of 79.50 for Admin respondents and 76.63 for Customers, both falling into the Acceptable category with a B (Good) grade. This study concludes that the implementation of the digital platform significantly improves operational efficiency and supports community participation in the local circular economy ecosystem.
