Abstract
This research is motivated by the need for an effective and efficient defect report management system in the production process. The main problems faced include manual data recording, reporting delays, and a lack of transparency in follow-up actions. This research aims to develop a web-based application to facilitate the reporting, monitoring, and resolution of defects in an integrated manner. The development method used is the Agile approach with the Scrum framework, which is carried out iteratively. System functionality testing was conducted using Black-box Testing, while the suitability of user needs was tested through User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The results show that the application is able to meet user needs, with a UAT acceptance level reaching 85.16%. This system has proven to accelerate reporting and simplify monitoring and evaluation, making it an effective solution to support quality improvement in the production process.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun suatu sistem pelaporan serta monitoring tren defect produksi pada Departemen Quality Assurance di PT. WIK Far East. Sistem ini dikembangkan untuk mengatasi permasalahan dalam proses pencatatan dan pengolahan data defect yang masih dilakukan secara manual atau belum terintegrasi secara optimal. Melalui sistem yang diusulkan, data hasil inspeksi dapat dicatat secara real-time, terstruktur, dan terpusat sehingga memudahkan dalam proses analisis. Selain itu, sistem ini juga menyediakan fitur monitoring tren defect yang memungkinkan pihak terkait untuk mengidentifikasi pola, jenis defect yang dominan, serta area produksi yang memerlukan perhatian lebih. Dengan adanya sistem ini, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas, akurasi, dan kecepatan dalam pelaporan defect, serta mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih tepat dalam upaya peningkatan kualitas produk.
