Abstract

Company XYZ still conducts key stages of its recruitment process manually, such as submitting and approving the Workforce Application Form (FPTK), managing job openings and applications, and scheduling interviews, which reduces efficiency and transparency. This study designs and develops a web‑based e‑recruitment system for Company XYZ using the Human‑Centered Design (HCD) approach based on ISO 9241‑210:2019. The development follows four HCD steps: understanding the context of use through observation and interviews, defining user needs, producing design solutions (wireframes, ERD, and implementation with Laravel and MySQL), and evaluating the design with Black Box Testing and the System Usability Scale (SUS). The resulting system implements 16 main functional requirements and passes all 27 Black Box test scenarios. Usability evaluation involving 30 actual users produces an average SUS score of 81.8 (Good, acceptable). A before‑and‑after analysis indicates that the system shortens the administrative recruitment cycle and improves transparency in monitoring FPTK and application status.
