Abstract

The service and operational processes at XPLAY Games previously faced several problems, including the absence of a centralized information system, service information delivery that still relied on social media, manual reservation process, non-automated payment verification, undocumented daily operational records, and the lack of digital notifications for customers. These initial conditions were identified through observation, interviews with the owner, operational staff, and customers, as well as an initial questionnaire distributed to operational staff. This research aims to develop a web-based Information System for XPLAY Games Services and Operations integrated with a payment gateway to support centralized service information, online reservations, digital payments, billing management, product sales, PlayStation unit rentals, check sheets, maintenance, remaining play-time notifications, stock management, and daily reporting. The development method used is Agile with the Kanban framework, while the system was built using the Laravel framework, PHP, MySQL, and Midtrans API integration. Functional testing results using Black Box Testing show that all main features are in accordance with the test scenarios. Usability and user experience evaluation using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) with 22 respondents resulted in mean scores of Attractiveness 2.583, Perspicuity 2.364, Efficiency 2.511, Dependability 2.341, Stimulation 2.511, and Novelty 2.409, with all dimensions falling into the Excellent category, Based on these results, the developed system is considered functionally feasible, easy to understand, efficient, attractive, and capable of supporting improvements in the quality of service and operations at XPLAY Games.
