    In general, cassava cutting machines are made by manual tools such as knive or scraper that need long time to do. Thin cassava cutting machine made to produce the same thickness of cassava chips and practice. The pressure motor which writer use is DC Motor for Power Window, and the cutter motor will work when the pressure motor touched cassava bowl. The product will measured by loadcell sensor, if it read 1 kg then the second DC Motor push bowl to the right and repeat by the secong DC Motor push the opposite way into the bowl, and if both bowls are full, so the third motor will move down equal the second bowl’s rack and so it is. All the motors will turn of if the pressure motor touched the limit switch which located at the edge the device. So, with this system the number of production capacity will grow faster and concise. This machine produce 5kg per 3 minutes in advance produce 5Kg per 15 minutes.

    Perancangan dan Implementasi Alat Pemberi Makan Ikan Otomatis Berbasis Arduino

    Batam with nearly one and a half million residents has large needs of fish consumption. Freshwater fish farm of catfish, carp, and catfish has spread in the Batam area and the surrounding islands. Fish feed is the main cost component as well as the key of success in fish farming business.Feeding on traditional fish farming are often done manually by spreading feed from all directions. The timeliness, quantity and the technique of feeding are important things that fish farmer must be considered. We propose a design of automatic fish feeding device with scheduling that can be arranged on a web-based interface. The design and implementation pahase show that the device designed can do automatic fish feeding based the schedule and the duration specified in the web-based interface. Future development of this project is to improve the prototype so that it can be used in the fish farming environment to test the resistance to environmental factors.

    Rancang Bangun Alat Sortir Buah Tomat Otomatis Berbasis Sensor Warna Menggunakan Metode K Nearest Neighbors

    Tomat adalah buah dengan nilai ekonomi tinggi yang digunakan dalam masakan atau sebagai sayuran dalam hidangan. Tingkat kematangan tomat ada yang berwarna hijau, kuning kemerahan dan merah. Untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat kematangan tomat agar efektif dan efisien maka dilakukan sebuah pemisahan tingkat kematangan buah tomat yang disebut dengan alat sortir yang menggunakan sensor TCS3200 dikendalikan oleh arduino dan komponen pendukung lainnya. Pada klasifikasi KNN pemilihan K tetangga terdekat membandingkan untuk mendapatkan akurasi terbaik nilai K 5, K 10, K 15 dengan nilai K akurasi terbaik yaitu K 5 sebesar 100%, dan pada sistem klasifikasi warna tomat 30 data latih dan 15 data uji total keselurahan 45 data, didapatkan untuk data prediksi dan aktual dengan tingkat akurasi 97%. Sedangkan pengujian motor servo terhadap hasil yang telah dideteksi oleh sensor TCS3200 mendapatkan akurasi 93%.

    Rancang Bangun Instrumen Akustik Pasif Pendeteksi Gelombang Bawah Air Berbasis Arduino

    The application of passive acoustic in marine can be used to ease the researcher for detecting the moving and static object in the water. The Fast Fourier Transform and wavelet is applied to the signal system in order to detect the noise and signal perform by object detected. The experimental results present the data got from koi fish and gourami fish in the plastic container which dimension is diameter 20cm and height 10cm. The data shows that the object can produce 13 sound patterns which koi fish has -15,66 dB in sound intensity while gourami fish has - 18,71 dB.

    Rancang Bangun Litterbox Kucing Otomatis Berbasis Arduino

    Penelitian ini mengembangkan litterbox otomatis berbasis Arduino untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan kenyamanan dalam perawatan kucing peliharaan. Sistem ini memanfaatkan Arduino UNO, sensor ultrasonik, motor stepper, buzzer, LCD, dan modul I2C untuk mendeteksi keberadaan kucing, mengontrol pengisian pasir. Pengujian meliputi evaluasi performa, keandalan, dan keseluruhan sistem, dengan perbandingan terhadap litterbox konvensional. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa litterbox otomatis memiliki tingkat keunggulan mencapai 87.14%, mengungguli litterbox konvensional yang hanya mencapai 55.71%. Sistem juga mampu merespons aktivitas kucing dengan akurasi tinggi pada sebagian besar pengujian. Penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa litterbox otomatis merupakan solusi praktis, memberikan pengalaman yang lebih baik bagi pengguna dan kucing peliharaan dibandingkan metode konvensional.

    Robot Drawing Dengan Pergerakan 3 Axis

    Currently the world of robotics began to grow rapidly with the appeared various types of robots. Robot is an option to help human work solve problems such as precision, security, flexibility and repetitive work. In the field of art they are many artists who were drawing using software, which are many conveniences in it. However, to print images into real the one, many artists still use printers which uses ink to print images, so the images do not look like drawn by real humans. To overcome these situation, the author makes a robot to print the images that exist in the software by using a pencil. By using the pencil the image looks more real as made by humans. This system uses the GRBL method or enter the commands from the cnc machine into the microcontroller. The image on the software will be converted into gcode and then read by processing software serialized to arduino for movement in drawing. The movement is used 3 axis, such that 2 stepper motors for x, y axis and 1 servo motor for movement on z axis. The results of the test show that the robot can draw flat shape like square, rectangle, circle, triangle and parallelogram. Robot can also move to a specified position in the software. The speed of drawing 5 two-dimentional figures are 2 minutes 3 seconds.

    Locker is place of storage that important for user, but locker always get some problems when using it such as key easily lost or left behind because the key have small size and easily to duplicated. It is the background of the problems to create ”The system of security locker using GSM module, Bluetooh Module and Reed Sensor”. The purpose of this project is to replace manual key to be smartphone for access the locker because manual key sometime easy lose or left behind. This research was conducted to understand the problems that occur directly and making habits in using a smartphone into a solution. The habit is always to bring smartphone anywhere so the possibility of missing or left behind is very rare. In order to use smartphone as a key, smartphone act as a transmitter which smartphone just send a message or activates bluetooth in order to unlock or lock the locker. The results of using smartphone as a electronic key for locker system is more flexible because user can access the locker anywhere and more effective because the key always bring anywhere and can not be duplicated without the permission of the user as a safety factor.

    Trainer Penyearah Terkendali Satu Fasa

    The rectifier is an electronic circuit that converts alternating current into direct current. There are some circuit or component that will be used for example triac, SCR or diode. Therefore, the creation of this controlled rectifier trainer is needed to perform student pratikum and to save time in doing pratikum. Making this rectifier trainer aims to avoid or reduce usage by using projectboard and also can be as safety, and can minimize the existence of damage to component when arranging a series. When making the trainer, there is a method of making controlled rectifier circuit, one of which is the authors choose by using PWM method that can trigger the foot gate on SCR, PWM method in use that is using Arduino. Arduino can produce output that can be set with the program. By adjusting the angle of ignition will be easier to get the desired waveform, so that students who will perform pratikum will set the angle of ignition that has been specified.
