Bullying is one form of aggressive behavior with the power that is being done repeatedly with the aim of disturbing other children or victims who are weaker than it is. Bullying has become a hot social topic of late these days when more cases of bullying are happening. The purpose of this study is to explain empirically the effect of workplace bullying on job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention with strain mediation. Objects studied are manufacturing companies employees in the city of Batam. The method used in the research by distributing questionnaires to employees. Data processing techniques using PLS‐SEM analysis by evaluating the Outer and In‐Model Models. The results of this study are consistent with previous research, which states that bullying work has an influence on job satisfaction, organizational commitment and intersection‐ mediated intentions. Translated is the workplace of bullying has an influence on job satisfaction, organizational commitment and intent rotation mediated by strain variables.Item Pengaruh Peran Lingkungan Kerja, Dukungan Atasan, Pelatihan dan Pengembangan, Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) Terhadap Komitmen Organisasi(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2017-06-09) Ernawati, Ida; Wibowo, Seto Sulaksono AdiThis research aims to examine the influence of work environment, support, training and development, occupational health and safety (Hse) of organizational commitment. The data used are the primary data with sample level operators a number of employees of the 156 employees at manufacturing companies 4. Sampling techniques using a purposive sampling and research was tested with a test of multiple regression analysis. The result of the study was the disclosure of the work environment, training and development occupational health and safety (Hse) positive effect significantly to organizational commitment, support supervisor has no effect against significant organizational commitment, while the work environment, support, training and development, occupational health and safety (Hse) simultaneously positive significant effect against the commitment of the organization. This research is limited to the electronic sector manufacturing company, then further research is suggested using the company in all other sectors so that the sample has more.Item Pengaruh Kompensasi, Motivasi, dan Komitmen Organisasional Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2015) Agus Tiyawan, Rian; Septiari, DoviEmployee’s are one of the assets of the company in obtaining revenue. Employees who have the quality and integrity is a resource that is expected of the company. Efforts by the company to gain human resources which are expected to contribute positively in the improvement of employee performance. This research have purpose to found the influence of financial compensation, nonfinancial compensation, motivation, and organizational commitment to employee performance. Respondents in this study were 396 permanent employees who worked in manufacturing companies in Batam, a data analysis technique used is a simple regression analysis. The research found that financial compensation and nonfinancial compensation has no direct influence on employee performance, but motivation and organizational commitment directly affect the performance of employees in Batam. Based on these results, it is advisable for the company to pay more attention to the policy of compensation, motivation, and creating employee commitment so that the performance of employees in the company will be increase. This study is limited to permanent employees of manufacturing companies in Batam, then for subsequent studies recommended to use sample from other types of company.Item Pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan Transaksional Terhadap Komitmen Organisasi Dan Kepuasan Kerja Pada Perusahaan Manufaktur Di Batam(Politeknik Negeri Batam, 2015-07-13) Marbun, Esra; Setianto, Adi IrawanThis research is about the impact of Transactional Leadership Style to Organizational Commitment and Job Satisfaction in manufacturing companies in Batam. The transactional leadership style stated in three characteristics: contingent reward, management by exception (active), management by exception (passive). The commitment stated in three characteristics: affective commitment, continuance commitment, and normative commitment .And job satisfaction stated in five characteristics: Employee, salary, promotion, supervision, and co-workers. Respondents in this study were 395 permanent employees who worked at manufacturing company in Batam. After examined the hypotheses used SPSS 20, this are the results of hypotheses: there is positive and significant effect between transactional leadership style to organizational commitment and there is positive and significant effect between transactional leadership style to job satisfaction. Is variable tested one by one, used simple linear analysis. This study is limited to permanent employee of manufacturing company in Batam, then for subsequent studies recommended to use sample from other types of company or other regional company.
