Description
This Final Project report describes the development and preparation of Politeknik Negeri Batam's Barelang FC humanoid robot team for RoboCup 2025 in Salvador, Brazil. It addresses major technical challenges identified during the RoboCup 2024 competition in Eindhoven, including visual perception limitations, mechanical durability issues under impacts, and time-consuming dataset labeling. The proposed enhancements include upgrading to YOLOv8 for field boundary segmentation, and implementing soft bumper mechanisms to safeguard actuators.
