Development Of Digital Archiving With Xampp Application For Archiving Imported Goods Shipping Documents In PT. XYZ Warehouse With R&D Method

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop a digital archiving system for import shipping documents in the e-archive system that has been developed in order to facilitate the process of finding the required archive documents quickly and to support archiving activities to be more effective and efficient. The main purpose of this study is to overcome the problems that occur in the warehouse, namely archiving is still done manually which causes many losses due to damage to physical documents and wasting time in searching for documents because the storage layout is irregular. The method used is the R&D (Research and Development) method with a qualitative approach. Observation, interviews, documentation and literature studies as data collection techniques. From the results of this study, it can be seen that the shipping warehouse staff have implemented digital archiving for 1 month of work in March after the e-archive was successfully created by the researcher in February and because the digital archiving was successful and running according to needs, other staff implemented it in April after it had been running for 1 month on the shipping staff in archiving import documents in the e-archive. The results of the validation comparison of the three validators show that the implementation of digital archiving management is good in providing convenience for the process of searching for imported goods shipping documents and is a solution to increase the effectiveness of managing archive information.
