dc.description.abstractIn the current era 4.0, technological advances are very rapid in the world of the automotive industry, especially in AGV-based production lines, which have become the core of modern manufacturing companies today, many companies automate their activities for a reason, namely increasing productivity, and reducing hazards due to human negligence (human error) as well as high costs of human labor.This study is intended to design a frame strength standard on the AGV (Automatic Guide Vehicle) frame machine with calculations by simulation analysis in SolidWorks Software which includes the calculation part of Von Misses (Voltage), Displacement (deflection), Safety Factor (safety factor) on the Automatic Guide Vehicle (AGV) frame. Based on the results of designing the frame using software, the AGV-based Production Line Machine frame is obtained with dimensions of 830 mm long, 830 mm wide and 830 mm high. The AGV Based Production Line Machine frame is equipped with a Chamsaft holder. The results of the analysis carried out with a maximum load of 100 kg, the von misses stress value is obtained with the highest stress level of 159 MPa. This value is still within safe limits because in the simulation results the value shows less than the yield strength of the material of 250 MPa. the maximum displacement result is 0.524 mm which is located in the area of giving load on the frame. This value can still be categorized in a small value, so it does not really affect the strength of the frame. the results of the safety factor analysis obtained a value of 100. This value is still declared safe because it has a safety factor greater than 1. From the overall analysis results show that the AGV-Based Production Line Machine frame design is still in the category of safe limits if added with a load of 1 Chamsaft, it can be said to be safe and can be continued in the frame manufacturing process.
