RANCANG BANGUN APLIKASI PENCATATAN KEHADIRAN KARYAWAN PADA PT. WASYIM KARYA BERSAMA

Abstract

Attendance recording and attendance record recapitulation are very important activities in the employee payroll process. Calculating attendance records based on the number of working days requires supervision in recording absence data and its subsequent recapitulation. PT. Wasyim Karya Bersama was established in 2015 as a fabricator and eractor of mechanical equipment. PT. Wasyim Karya Bersama has now transformed and is established as one of the leading onshore and offshore EPCIC contractors in Indonesia. The system used in the employee attendance recording process is still manual, namely by filling in the attendance record form provided by the admin and taking a photo of the employee at the end of each month. This certainly has an impact on the effectiveness and efficiency of data collection, data search, and calculating attendance records, which takes time, thereby increasing the risk of errors and loss of attendance data. Therefor, an application is needed for attendance recording and simultaneous monitoring of attendance records. The research method used is development with the Waterfall model. It is hoped that this web-based employee attendance recording application can facilitate the attendance recording process, data retrieval, and attendance record calculation, as well as reduce the risk of loss and errors in attendance data recording at PT. Wasyim Karya Bersama.
